Visitors to Seaside Gardens are invited to tour our beautiful 3+ acre botanical wonderland. Eleven garden vignettes provide an around-the-world sampling of plants that thrive in our coastal environment. The gardens were designed by local landscape designers and include Asian, Australian, California Native, Central/South American, Grassland, Mediterranean, Native Wetland Bioswale, Perennial/Cottage, South African, Succulent, and Tropical themes. At Seaside Gardens, friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to answer questions and help customers find the perfect additions to their gardens. Our garden designers welcome new business and would love to help solve those "problem areas" or give your garden a complete overhaul. In the retail plant section we offer a large palette of plants found growing in our display garden (this is somewhat seasonal), as well as new varieties of exotic and unusual plant species. The garden shop offers soils, amendments, nutrients, gardening tools, pond and fountain supplies, planters, bird feeders, trellis' and more. The gift shop is a fun place to find an unusual gift of glassware, candles, soaps, hats, books, etc.
Pottery, fountains, planted containers, and bird baths are an excellent way to accent the garden, soften a pathway, or enliven a patio. We offer an array of these garden additions. We also encourage customers to choose a special container and create their own masterpiece. Our expert is on hand for help and advice.
